I believe in learning, not memorising, and wrote the book because I know that there are plenty of intelligent and capable people out there who are being failed by the modern education system. Can I even call it modern? It's not moved on an awful lot from factory education.
That's why I wrote the book, to help students build a fluid understanding which equips them to tackle any and every problem, proves equations to them, and explores the real world applications of each topic so they know why they should care. In short, I wrote this book to make learning Math fulfilling instead of a chore.
My undergraduate college left me feeling heavily dissatisfied with the quality of teaching, so I fully empathise with how students feel. On the other hand, my Masters' institution taught with passion and diligence and was worlds apart from my old college, so I know full well the importance of imbuing care and energy into teaching.
The world we live in today is riddled with so many problems, and I believe that the new generation needs to be equipped with REAL education to change our fate. The world is the way it is today because we have an education system which encourages memorisation over learning, which is why the world isn't becoming a better place, so I wrote this in hopes to spark a revolution in education.
